This site exists to make it easier to talk about mental health — so we try to know as little about you as possible. You can read every page here without creating an account, without accepting any tracking, and without telling us who you are.
What we collect
Analytics (only if you say yes)
We use Google Analytics to understand which episodes and resources people find helpful. It does not load at all unless you explicitly allow it in the consent prompt — if you decline (or never answer), no request is sent to Google. If you allow it, Google Analytics sets cookies and collects standard usage data such as the pages you visit, your approximate region, and your device type, under Google's privacy policy. Your choice is stored on your device and you can change it here at any time:
Feedback you send us
The "Site Feedback" button in the footer opens a form that sends us whatever you type, along with basic technical context (the page you were on and your browser type) so we can reproduce problems. Please don't include personal or sensitive details in feedback — it goes to the site team as a ticket, not to a therapist.
If you email us (for example to suggest a resource or ask about sponsorship), we see your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply and for nothing else.
Embedded players
Episode video is embedded from YouTube using its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which is designed not to set tracking cookies until you press play. The audio player on the home page is embedded from RSS.com. When you interact with these players, YouTube and RSS.com may collect data under their own privacy policies.
Hosting
The site is served as static pages by GitHub Pages, which may log standard technical request data (such as IP addresses) to operate the service, per GitHub's privacy statement. We do not have access to, or keep, server logs of our own.
What we don't do
- No accounts, no sign-ups, no newsletters.
- No selling or sharing of personal information.
- No ads or ad tracking.
- No analytics of any kind unless you opt in.

One more thing: this site is not a crisis service and nothing here replaces professional care. If you need help right now, call or text 988.
